Our Story

An unexpected love story begins
with Little League baseball.

Connor and Kayla’s journey began when he volunteered for Spotsylvania County Little League’s baseball program. Kayla’s brother, Craig, was managing her nephew’s team and welcomed Connor as an assistant coach. As the season unfolded, Connor and Kayla found themselves working side by side, their connection growing stronger with every practice and game.

Throughout the season, they shared laughs on the field and enjoyed cheering on the kids, but it wasn’t until the season was winding down that they decided to take a leap. Toward the end of the baseball season, Connor and Kayla went on their first date, turning a shared passion for baseball into a budding romance.

What started as a simple volunteer opportunity had blossomed into something much more meaningful!
